As part of its mass awareness campaign, the SARF, in collaboration with SDRS, has
organised two Legal Awareness Camps for Rural Women in Samastipur district of Bihar.
Furthermore, the SARF has also collaborated with in conducting a short - term (5
weeks) training programme for unemployed rural educated people (belonging to the
poor and weaker sections of the society) on experimental and voluntary basis (with
its own resources in certain trades (such as, Computer, Beautician and Typing) at
Teghra village in Madhubani district of Bihar- as part of its campaign for upgrading
the entrepreneurship and skills development of such disadvantaged strata of society
so as to help them achieve self reliance. It has also carried out a survey of the
uneducated as also unemployed persons with disabilities in Teghra and its nearby
villages / bastis.
